MATERIAL CULTURE
Our newest exhibition, Material Culture, explores how the artistry of textiles shapes culture, identity, tradition, and creative expression.
Through fashion design, weaving, embroidery, fabric, and textile-based visual art, this exhibition brings together a diverse group of artists working across disciplines and materials. Each artist demonstrates how textiles can move beyond function to become powerful forms of storytelling, craftasmanship, and cultural expression.
We invite you to experience the textures, techniques, and stories woven throughout Material Culture, on view at the Roho Collective Gallery & Cultural Arts Center from October 13 through November 17.a

for our inaugural event in our Art & Wine series, where we bring together the beauty of Black art, the elegance of wine, and the creativity of culinary experiences for a truly unique and curated evening.
Guests will experience a featured Black artist’s work while exploring the inspiration, stories, and creative process behind each piece. The evening will also feature three thoughtfully curated dishes prepared by Chef Jay Johnson of Cooks of Hope, paired with three hand-selected wines by Twin Cities Sommelier Angelica Imhoede, founder of Everybody Loves Wine.
More than an evening of art, wine, and food, this experience celebrates the connections between culture, creativity, and community. Join us for an intimate evening designed to engage your senses, inspire conversation, and offer a fresh perspective on the art of pairing creativity with culinary excellence.
